God has empowered you with the strength, determination, and endurance to battle what lays ahead.

Remember, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Psalms 46:1 ESV.

Take one step at a time and lean on God for your strength as well as your refuge.

One day you will look back on today and give God the praise for helping you get through it.

“Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.” James 1:12 ESV.

Hang in there and know, whatever you may be going through, it will not last forever.

Open Our Eyes To Blessings

01aa85fdc037a9b0199c1f3915f0ac84267018eba2There are many days in life where we find it is overwhelming due to the busyness that surrounds us while living with the realization there is never enough time to get everything done that is required of us. Do you ever feel this way?

You know those days where you struggle to open your eyes first thing in the morning because you were up all night with a sick child or a newborn baby. You were up all night finishing that project for school, college, or work because it had a deadline first thing in the morning. Lastly, you were up all night working a night shift and you are completely exhausted and can barely hold your eyes open now it is the morning.

My friend, I am here to encourage you today to open your eyes while taking some time to appreciate, both physically and literally, the life that passes you by every day. I want you to actively seek the things that bring joy to your heart, but you have no time to look for it or to see it for all the chaos you struggle with from day to day.

There are many days where we function by just going through the motions and barely surviving, but today is not going to be this day. Today you are going to concentrate on looking for the things which brings you joy. Whether it is a sight, sound, or feeling, it does not matter. What matters is that you are actively looking for it while you go about your day.

Today’s challenge is to begin by asking God to help you seek the joys of your heart. The joys you forgot you had due to being so busy that your life has passed you by. I want you to physically ask Him to show you the things that inspire and encourage you.

God will honor your request by opening your eyes to what you need, but you must simply ask.

“But I know that even now God will give you whatever you ask.” John 11:22 NIV

I know all too many times we forget how simple this is to do or how important it is to do, but He promises to listen. Today, you will break this mold and will ask for the desires of your heart. The desire to find the joy you hold but have been too busy to experience.

“Ask the Lord your God for a sign, whether in the deepest depths or in the highest heights.” Isaiah 7:11 NIV

I am an advocate of asking God for a physical sign, because I always joke about how He made me and knows I function better if I have something concrete to hold on to. Well, here, my friend, He tells us we can ask for something physical to hold on to. Ask Him today to show you physically the joys of your heart. Ask Him specifically for the flower you love, or that01086a8ba4978cfe9a25fbf09d9e5f955e97f83fb4 specific sound or song, or person. I do not know what the desires of your heart are, but I know that God knows each and everyone of them just as He knows how many hairs are on your head.

“And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.” Matthew 10:30 NIV

If God knows how many hairs are on our heads then He knows what brings us joy, even if we, ourselves have forgotten.

My friend, today I am reminding you to simply ask God to open your eyes and your heart to be blessed with what brings joy to your life.

Allow yourself to be blessed by God today.

What Happens When Stress Becomes Unbearable?

Is your life difficult at the moment because worries seem to be piling upon each other and you find the stress unbearable?

Are you in a season of transition, whether you are seeking a new job opportunity or moving to another state or country and you find the stress unbearable?

Are you getting married or having a baby and the months of preparations are quickly disappearing leaving you defenseless to the time and calendar you have been working so diligently with. Now time is running out and you have no idea how you will be ready for the big event to arrive and you find the stress unbearable?

Are you living with a loved one who is struggling with health issues or a chronic illness and they just can not find the road to recovery? Do you find yourself exhausted and helpless because there is nothing you can do to help them feel better? You are trying to be understanding, empathetic, and sympathetic to the health issues, but you are struggling with a concerned and fear over the lack of a paycheck coming in and you find the stress unbearable?

Are you a college student who is struggling to meet the goals of turning in assignments, writing papers, and preparing for final exams while you find the stress unbearable?

My friend, no matter how unbearable you find your stress and how out of control your circumstances may seem, I have a reliable reminder for you today, God knows about all of it. He sees the magnitude of it, as well as the tiniest morsel of it. He knows what the outcomes are as well as what the provisions are. Not one of these circumstances has taken Him by surprise.

We are to trust in Him and have the faith to know it will all come together in the end.

Here are a few verses I looked up with the hopes they will inspire and encourage you to know that no matter what happens, with “faith and trust”, it will all work out.

“He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:20 New International Version (NIV)

“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” Hebrews 11:1 (NIV)

“… for we walk by faith, not by sight.” 2 Corinthians 5:7 (ESV)

Today, my friend, reclaim your life from the fear that took you captive and replace it with a trust in God because He knows about everything going on. Turn your fear into faith and walk away with your head held high because no matter how much stress you are feeling and how unmanageable it may feel, God has it all under control.

Lastly, the image I chose for today’s post was chosen to remind us all; with the proper care, love, water, and sun, God can take a tiny seed and turn it into a beautiful flower. If He can do this with a tiny seed planted in the ground, how much more does He love and cherish us?

Do not let the worries, concerns, and stress of life deaden you to the beauty God holds for you. Allow the same love, sun and rain God provides for the plants to nurture your life in the same way.

My friend, take some time today to rest in your Heavenly Father’s arms. While you are there, ask Him to free you from the bondage of stress and fear you have been experiencing and allow your faith to be refreshed by His grace and mercy.

Choosing Which Box to Open

I must just sit down and take some time to decompress from the stress of life. I feel like I am trapped on a hamster wheel and I cannot get off. I know everyone has problems, we are all human, but how we handle them is completely different.

Box of WorriesI for one, compartmentalized my stress and worries. I have so many issues and concerns that worry me that I have found if I place them all into their own individual boxes then I can open them as I need worry about them.

As for my boxes, they look a little like this…

  • One for finances.
  • One for my daughters’ medical issues.
  • One for my husband’s medical issues.
  • One for my blog.
  • One for my business.
  • One for staying on top of managing my home and family.
  • One for trying to be a good wife.
  • One for trying to be a good mom.
  • One for trying to be a good daughter.
  • One for trying to be a good friend.

And the list can go on and on and on.

Unfortunately, for me, I can have all my boxes opened at one time and have all the contents, or in this case worries and concerns, laying all over the floor in a big heaping mess.

In the “picture perfect” world, I would only open one box at a time, but not me. I am that “raw” and “real” mess and I am exposing myself to you today with the hopes of encouraging you to know, if you too are like me, you are not alone.

I am not, by any means, saying this is healthy, as I know it is not, but what I am saying is that it is real and there are others who live in this messiness, we call life.

By living this way, it is impossible to give all this the focus it needs to be done efficiently and therefore it feels like everything in my world is either getting ahead of me or I am constantly in a state of it all falling apart.

I juggle all of this and because I do, nothing on this list gets my undivided attention and as a result, makes me feel stressed out, inadequate, and frustrated.

Do you have a set of boxes similar to mine and find yourself feeling the same way?

Psalm 9_9-10 The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.My friend, if you do, I am going to share with you what God shared with me this morning.

“The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in the times of trouble.” Psalms 9:9-10 

We can use this verse as a means of strength when we are weak, as a source of courage when we are scared, and a source of comfort when we are lonely. 

When life has us knocked down like I described above, He is always there to guide us back to a time of stability and normalcy and strengthens us from our time of fragility. He is always there, even in the middle of our biggest messes, when we choose to open all our boxes at one time and then we feel overwhelmed and frightened by what awaits us.

My friend, God is our source of strength even in our darkest and weakest of times. If you have wandered away from Him and feel like you have strayed so far that He has forgotten you, I am here to remind you, you have not. He knows you and remembers you. He wants to be your comforter and your source of strength. He wants you to know you are loved unconditionally.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (1)Remember the familiar bible verse that so many of us learned when we were children or new Christians,

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16 NIV

He loves us all unconditionally. He loves us no matter how messy our lives are. He loves us despite how many boxes we may have or how many we may have open at one time.

There is one thing that remains consistent as I write this blog post and it is this; God keeps reminding me that no matter how many boxes I may have opened or how many boxes I may have dumped all over the floor at one time, He is reminding me that it can all be picked back up (similar to our children doing clean up and putting all their toys away) and that once it is all picked up and placed back in the box, the cover can be closed and we do not have to see the mess any longer.

My Friend, as I close out this post, it is my desire through exposing the rawness of my life, that you are encouraged by knowing no matter what you are going through, God is still by your side. He is there comforting us as we open our boxes and wants us to turn to Him while we navigate our way through the boxes.

Be encouraged and know that no matter how dark and messy life may seem, there is always a hope to cling to and that hope is our Savior who is “ALWAYS” by our side. We are never alone no matter how lonely you may feel.

Peace and comfort my friend as you finish reading this. It is my desire if you struggle with the same messiness I struggle with, that God can use my ugly revelation today to encourage you to know you are not alone and that above everything else to know God is and will always be by your side.

Pondering Thoughts of Hardships

design-167I wanted to take a moment in the quietness of my house to reflect upon as well as remind my readers that peace does have the possibility to be restored in your life.

I had to get up early this morning to give my baby dog his medicine and discovered he would need more homemade dog food, as I am trying to build his weak body up to prepare him for his upcoming surgery. I am making him ground chicken (with bones), rice, and this morning I added his favorite, carrots to his homemade food. He should be really happy when he eats supper tonight. I add this to his already grain free kibble and he is more than happy to join the clean plate clubbers fan club after each meal now.

As I was working about my house while my family slept, I was pondering everything that is going on in our lives. I was thinking about all of my concerns. The biggest being, “Please God protect our job.” I do not want to live through another horrible experience of job loss ever again.

As that concern popped into my head I was like, wait, I need to pray about this. So I asked God to remove all the worry from my mind if He truly has this situation under control. I will be brutally honest and tell you as I write this that my stomach got a bit shaken up.

I will take a moment to remind you of this though, (disclaimer I have to remind myself (which I will confess I struggle with)), no matter how scared or worried about a situation I may be, God has it already figured out.  

Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest? Luke 12:26 NIV

img_9079All too often we forget this and feel we need to have the plans already figured out. Sometimes those plans go as deep as the alphabet because in our minds we not only have plan A, but we even create contingency plans B-Z. My question is for all of us is… “Why?”. Why do we do this when we know, hands down every time, that God has a plan each and every time? If he knows how many hairs on our heads than He knows our plans, our solutions, and our future.

“And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.” Matthew 10:30 NIV

My friend, I am here to remind you and me both. Worry gets us now where. It steals our joy like a thief in the night. We are no longer able to see the things we enjoy in life. We no longer see the sun shining on a beautiful day or the precious smiles on the faces of those around us. It steals every part of our being. I say this because this is what it has done to me and continues to as long as I let it run my life.

We have to take a step back and reclaim our lives from this ugly monster. Cling to this verse as it often times pop into my head when worry has me consumed.

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Matthew 6:34 NIV

Or if you are in a really tough spot try clinging to these verses. I find they give me comfort when I struggle with wondering why God has forsaken me in the chaos I may find myself in.

“Look at the birds of the air: They do not sow or reap or gather into barns–and yet your Heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?” Matthew 6:26 NIV

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7

design-88God’s intentions for us is not to worry about things we have no control over. My friends, we spend so much time thinking that everything in our life is ours to figure out; our jobs, our spouses, our marriages, our children, our finances, our health, you name it and do we not feel like we are in complete control over it all? When it comes down to the wire and those things are falling apart, who truly has the control? I can tell you (from my ugly experiences) it is not us. Only does God know everything about all of these things we think we control. 

My friend, when life seems to be full of chaos with nowhere to turn, look to Him and be honest, tell Him your fears and concerns. Lay them all at His feet and pour your heart out and allow Him to do your problem-solving. Allow God to carry your burdens and free yourself up of the darkness and the mind games the enemy is playing with you. Shift your focus from the ugly, the negative, the concerns, the fears and look for the beauty in life again. God has all the other stuff. He even tells us to do this.

“Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable–if anything is excellent or praiseworthy–think about such things.” Philippians 4:8

So as we go into our weekends, let us join together and refocus our worries and concerns allowing God to fill us up with a “peace that passes all understanding”, His peace.

“And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:7 ESV

My Friend, if you read my earlier post this week, you will know my writing all of this does not come easily. I walk a pretty tough road and I am just as stubborn at listening to God as anyone else, but I do write, however, what I feel God is trying to tell me and you as well. These words of encouragement and scripture did not come from me. They are what God placed on my heart to provide me with a comfort and a peace that everything will not only work out but that He has the control over all of it, I do not.

Join me in walking away from all the stress this weekend and allow God to renew our hearts and minds so when the week to come arrives, we will be rejuvenated and prepared for whatever lies ahead.

Sharing My God Revealing Moment

Today’s encouragement is coming in the form of a lesson God showed me this morning  and will be followed by a challenge.

Have you ever taken the time to truly think about who God is? I know many of you will say yes, but I mean truly took time to ponder deep down inside who He really is? If you were asked to describe Him, what words would you choose?

As I was doing my morning devotion I stumbled on these verses and found I needed to I read and reread this passage over and over again. I completely understand God is a God of hope, strength, peace, and comfort as well as many more, but these verses jumped out at me and I decided to share them with you as well. It is my prayer they touch your heart as they have touched mine.

Read this passage and see what you think? Do you see God as a God of “action” like I did.

I have underlined the action words to allow you the ability to see what jumped out at me this morning.

“Your loveLord, reaches to the heavens,
    your faithfulness to the skies.
Your righteousness is like the highest mountains,
    your justice like the great deep.
    You, Lord, preserve both people and animals.
How priceless is your unfailing love, O God!
    People take refuge in the shadow of your wings.
They feast on the abundance of your house;
    you give them drink from your river of delights.
For with you is the fountain of life;
    in your light we see light.

Continue your love to those who know you,
    your righteousness to the upright in heart.”  

Psalm 36: 5-10 NIV

These are all words we know describes our Heavenly Father, but there is something about seeing them written in one place together that makes them awesome and awe striking to me today.

We know we have a God who is a person of action. He is “always” with us and meeting our every need twenty-four hours a day, crisis after crisis, need after need, as well as celebrating joy after joy, but still… these verses just ring true to me.

There are no limits to His provisions for us. They are immeasurable. Think about His unfailing “love” and “faithfulness” that reaches the Heavens and the skies. My friend, when you look at these words there is something magnificent here. We are incapable of doing this in our human form. We may love people, but not with this kind of love. We are incapable of this, but God is not.

Now think about His righteousness and justice for a moment. I am so thankful it comes in abundance as I mess up so much in my daily life. It would take a lot of patience for Him to accept me as well as offer me so graciously His righteousness and justice. Thankfully He doesn’t judge me as man does. I will graciously accept his righteousness and justice any day.

My friend, God’s “love” is unfailing.He loves each and every one of us despite our failures, faults and stubbornness. He meets all our needs even through we may not be willing to see them. I know I am guilty of this. When I am at my weakest I can easily forget, but God gently reminds me He is a God of love and will provide for my every need. He shows me by using His creatures as examples. God will show me a pair of doves or a majestic butterfly. He will put a pair of geese along my travels to show me if He meets the needs of these creatures, how much more does He love me and will meet my needs. He brings forth the provisions I am in need of every time.

“Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?”

Matthew 6:26 NKJV

God provides for all of His people and His creatures, however I can completely understand how difficult it is to see. Through the past couple of years we have experienced great hardships and God has used these hardships to soften my heart and to show me how weak I am and how incapable to fully trust anyone, including Him at times. Trust in Him my friend, He never lets you down. Allow Him to bless you with the provisions you are in need of just as He does for me.

Take refuge under His wings if you are walking through the murky and muddy waters of life. Allow God to provide abundantly for your needs while you are seeking shelter from the storm. Allow Him to shield you and love you while you breathe and get warm. Our God is strong and mighty enough to do this for you, if you allow Him too.

“He shall cover you with His feathers,
And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler.”

Psalm 91:4 NKJV 

My friend, allow God to refresh your hunger and thirst. He has the provisions and is just waiting for you to seek Him. Go to His house and knock on the door.

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.”

Revelations 3:20 NKJV

He promises to let you in if we only ask. Take shelter my friend; rest, restore, and regain your strength with His promises. When you do, you will see this amazing light shine through Him. Allow His rays to permeate into your soul so others will see His light shine through you,

As I said earlier, when I read the initial verses out of Psalm, it left me awe-struck and amazed by His wonderment. I know He is capable of doing all of this, but when the writer of Psalms put it all together like this, it became even more powerful and magnificent.

My friend, your challenge today is to truly seek God and ask Him to share His amazing blessings with you. If you find yourself in a turbulent time ask Him to meet these needs for you. He promises to do so and when He does, it will renew your hope in Him and in a brighter future.

Your Heart Has Your Joy

Today’s Encouragement is to remind you no matter how dark life might be or how sad and discouraged you may find yourself, there is still a joy which can be found in your heart because God lives within you.

The author of Psalm 16:11 reminds us,

“You will show me the path of life;
In Your presence 
is fullness of joy;
At Your right hand 
are pleasures forevermore.” Psalm 16:11 NKJV

God reminds us in His word that we are His sheep and no matter where we are, what we are going through, or how difficult life may be, there is a joy that resides in our lives permanently.

Just as the sheep of a flock knows the sound of their master’s voice, we know His. We may choose to not listen to Him, but this does not mean He has chosen to separate from us. His love is unconditional unlike so many of our lives.

My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.” John 10:27-28 NIV

We may stray away from Him, but this verse reminds us that God has not forgotten us. He knows who has eternal life and He knows who will spend eternity with Him. He wants to remind us today this is the “joy” we forget when life becomes weary. You may have turned your back on Him, but He has not turned His back on you.

Today’s challenge is to be observant to everything going on around you. God uses the everyday things to remind us He has not left us or forsaken us. My friend, watch for those coincidences that occur in your life. You see them on a regular basis, but you have turned a blind eye to where they are truly coming from. God is in the miracle business He is not in the coincidence business. Open your heart today to see the small things you take for granted. God’s hands are all over those small things as well.

Ponder this thought through your day, what are you in need of? Are you extremely tired and could use a mental health day? Ask God to provide you with a sign that He is there for you and is listening to your requests. He may not provide you with an immediate day off as His timing isn’t the same as ours, but if you remain observant, He will meet your need and a way which you will least expect. My friend, it won’t be coincidental. God’s work is calculated and on purpose.

Are you in need of the ability to breathe again from the stressors of life? Ask Him for a peace that passes all understanding. He will provide it. Think about this, have you ever been stressed out because you could not figure out a solution to a problem or situation? Have you ever just had this “peace” come over you and it reassured with an “I can do this” feeling? My friend, this isn’t a coincidence. This is God embracing you with a “peace” that passes all understanding and a comfort that everything will all work out.

Lastly, have you been concerned about something you just could not figure out a solution to, but had the confidence it would all work out? My friend, this is God gracing you with an assurance that He has the answer and He has the timing. He is reassuring you there does not have to be a solution right now, but that the problem will resolve itself in due time.

My sweet and struggling friend, keep your eyes open and watch for those moments God is using to talk to you. He uses the simple gestures to reassure you there is “joy” hidden in your heart even if you haven’t seen if for a while.

In closing, today’s gentle reminder is to reassure you no matter how long it has been since you were happy or have seen a real and genuine joy in your life, it is not lost forever. You simply have to take the time to look inside your heart and rediscover it again.

Today’s challenge is to seek out a reason to make someone feel special.

It is easy enough to do whether you do something unexpected for a family member or a total stranger off the street. God wants us to love, respect, and appreciate others. He believes this so strongly He commands us to love others as we love ourselves.

I am aware this is not easy to do as there are a lot of people who are less than nice, but it doesn’t matter, God’s commands are clear. We are to love one another.

“My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.” John 15:12 NIV

God loved us enough to send His Son for everyone of us, whether we love Him or we dislike Him.

Think about that for a moment. For those of you who have children, can you imagine crucifying your child for the love of others to include those who do not like you? Think about the rude person you met in traffic, the rude person you work with, or the impatient customer you ran into at the grocery store. Can you imagine crucifying your child, even for them, if it means showing your ultimate love for someone else?

Wake up call here, God did. He created His Son for the soul purpose to save us as sinners from our own lives.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 KJV

Take time this weekend to reach out and touch the life of someone making them feel like they are special and are loved.

I can tell you from my own personal experience, for the people who have done this for me, I will never forget. I will hold their deed or generosity close and dear to my heart.

You will make a difference and one that will not be forgotten.

Today’s Encouragement is coming through the form of “hope“.

Is your life so busy you no longer are able to enjoy it? Is there struggle and strife in a relationship with your spouse, children, or extended family members? Are financial struggles beating you up to the point where you want to quit and just give up? Is there an overall feeling of darkness all around and you are no longer able to see the hope for a brighter future?

My special friend, through your darkness I can promise you a hope, that in this world may seem unattainable, but I can say with the utmost assurance, it exists. It exists through God Himself. You need to lean on Him and allow His strength to permeate through the darkness that surrounds you. 

My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserves my life.” Psalm 119:50 NIV

God is with you to celebrate your greatest joys as well as holding you through your greatest weaknesses. He promises a hope that no one else can offer when all seems hopeless.

“Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.” PS 55:22 NIV

Your challenge today is to not focus on the struggles and the strife you are battling within, but to look outside (which is not easy to do) and find a peace from around you. Look for the simple blessings and hold them dear to your heart.

Try looking for a blessing that is waiting to be seen and felt.

There are many way to experience this, you only have to be willing to open your heart to see and feel them.

Try going outside and feel the gentle fresh spring breeze blowing across your face and feel the sun shining in your eyes.

As you drive down the road try looking out across an open field and look for the blossoming trees and see the fresh new color of yellows and purples blanketing the fields.

These are blessings that can hold a sense of freshness and shout the joys of a new beginning.

How about this one, try opening your heart to hear the laughter of a child playing or taking the time to see a gentle smile on the face of a loved one. There is something healing about the sounds of joy or the simplicity of a gentle smile.

While you are trapped in a world of darkness, these simple blessings fade away from life, but I am here to remind you today, they are still out there.

Today’s challenge is to open your heart and experience them again.

Lastly, remember, just as God created the seasons of the year, we experience similar seasons within our lives. Sometimes as we struggle to get through the season with winter, we forget this doesn’t last forever. Just as God created the season of spring to bring everything back to life, He does the same within our own lives. Allow for the fresh renewal to take bloom and rejoice in the freshness of the beauty as it comes back again.

Inspiration Can Come From The Miracle of Bread and Fish

7B53D76C-B9A4-4EB2-819E-252074252208Today’s Encouragement  was inspired by a friend who was encouraging me as I was sharing with her, a hope and dream I have to make some extra money for our family.

Moms are a lot like Jesus. You can give us a fish and loaf of bread and we stretch it out for a month. It’s what we do as women.

I have heard this bible story my entire life, but found this encouraging the way she used it to inspire me. I attached the Biblical version for those who may not be aware of it.

16 “But Jesus said to them, “They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.”17 And they said to Him, “We have here only five loaves and two fish.”18 He said, “Bring them here to Me.” 19 Then He commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass. And He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke and gave the loaves to the disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitudes. 20 So they all ate and were filled, and they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments that remained. 21 Now those who had eaten were about five thousand men, besides women and children.”  Matthew 14:16-21 NKJV 

In this quote she used mom’s because we are both moms who know how difficult it is to financially struggle at times. However, this can apply to anyone whether you are a parent or you are single person with no children.

The key to this quote is to remember, no matter how little you may have or how difficult your circumstances may be, God is always here to encourage and bless you.

Do you have a need that is difficult to find a solution to? My Friend, turn it over to God while putting your trust and faith in Him to provide for it. There is never anything too big for Him to handle.

God is in the miracle business. He fed five thousand people with only two fish and five loaves of bread. He turned water into wine. He raised the dead to life. He healed many as well. These are just a few of His miracles, but the meanings are to show and remind us that God is fully capable of meeting each and every need we have today.

My Friend, Today’s Encouragement is to remind you, no matter what your need, situation, or circumstances are, they will never be too big for God to help you with. You need to simply ask knowing with faith and trust that He will meet your need, but remember, in His timing. You have to keep your heart open to hear and wait for His answers as His timing doesn’t always equate to ours. You have to wait on Him like a child does with a parent, to see if your answer will be yes, no, or maybe. Be mindful while you wait, that He allows circumstances to come and go from our lives for a reason, because nothing He does is ever by accident. These circumstances often lead you to the solution you are waiting for. You have to remain patient and remain open minded to watch and wait for your answers.
