Have Hope…

Today’s Monday Motivation is To Have Hope

Have hope that this will not last forever.

Have hope in today that today will be a good one.

Have hope in the courage to take the next step if it is difficult one to make.

Have hope that God is still walking hand in hand with you.

Have hope God has not abandoned you.

Have hope in Elizabeth Elliot’s encouraging words below,

“Sometimes life is so hard you can only do the next thing. Whatever that is just do the next thing. God will meet you there.”

Elizabeth Elliot

Lastly, have hope that God is protecting you and will be with you every step of the way.

God Holds The Road Map

Motivation Monday

Credit: @homelifeandencouragement

Do you ever feel like you are wandering around aimlessly in the forest? No matter what turn you take or what path looks right, the view is still the same. It never changes. It never looks different.

Eventually, you take the time to look around and you conclude you have only been walking around in circles, going nowhere.

Have faith in these words,

“God will meet you where you are, in order to take you where He wants you to go.”

Tony Evans

My friend, today’s words of motivation are to stop walking to be just walking. This is why you are walking in circles.

Instead… stop, look up, and seek God’s direction.

He holds the road map you do not have, in His hands. He knows the direction you are to take to get out of the forest and He knows what forks in the road you are to be taking to live out the plan “He” has for you.

Stop, look up and seek God for your directions today and your journey will begin to look different. Your circles will begin to straighten and you will begin to see the clearing of trees leading you out of the forest.

Enjoy your journey, Friend. Now you have access to the “Man” with the map and you have the assurance the route will be clearly marked out. You will no longer walk aimlessly, but instead you will be walking with purpose.

The purpose is the plan God has for you. Now you can enjoy the journey as well as the view along the way out of the forest.

Trust in His road map and your journey can be done with confidence and surety.

Have A Great Day! 💜

Rocking Monday

The weekend is behind us and a new week is upon us.

If you are like me, it is scheduled to be a busy one, but no matter how difficult it may become, I am encouraged by these words,

“When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.” Psalm 56:3.

My friend, go into the week knowing God has your back.

You are not alone. Trust Him with your every decision and the direction you will take in your life and at your job.

You’ve Got this! Rock your week!

Hope Shines Brightly For New Tomorrows

Today’s Challenge is simple and was inspired by this quote,

“One person caring about another represents life’s greatest value.” – Unknown

How many people do you know who are struggling and are in physical or emotional pain?

All you have to do is take a minute to think of a person in life in your life who is struggling. They will not be hard to find.

I challenge you today to reach out and show someone who is in pain that they are not alone. Give them a hug, a smile, or simply a note of encouragement. Let them know they will be okay and that they are loved.

This simple moment of caring is enough to give them the hope they need to get through today.

My Friend, please reach out today and encourage them, give them the hope they may have lost, and allow them to see the brightness of a new tomorrow.

You Are Brave And Strong

Monday Motivation

Your motivation today is to remind you to make this an amazing week.

No matter what happens or how hard it may begin, stand strong and fight back against the difficulty and make it a good week anyway.

“I’d rather regret the things I’ve done than regret the things I haven’t done.” -Lucille Ball

Lastly, remember this important fact, you are braver than your circumstances and you are stronger than your situation. Reach out for what is important and make it happen.

You’ve got this because… You Are Enough!

Refill Your Cup

Quick Encouragement

img_8541It has been a very long Monday.

I need to go to bed earlier tonight than I did last night in order to survive tomorrow.

I am going to share a quick thought while I have a moment.

My thought is simple, remember the importance of self-care.

You can not properly take care of others or things if your cup is empty.

Be sure to not run yourself out of what you need to live a quality life.

Take a moment today to refresh yourself.

Doing Right Produces Blessings

Encouragement Today

Today’s encouragement and motivation is a simple one.

Do for others not because someone will do it for you, but do it because it is the right thing to do.

Not everyone does what is right or even fair, but it does not dismiss what you should do because it is the correct thing to do.

Stop and think about what you are going to do. If you have the quick thought, “but someone would not do this for me,” I challenge you to do it anyway.

God will bless you for doing what is right every time.

Convictions Are Personal

Encouragement Today

Today’s encouragement is a simple reminder your personal conviction is intended for only you and not for everyone else. Therefore, be cautious when sharing what God has convicted you with that you do not place that same conviction onto others. Not everyone is in the same place in life because God prepares each individual with His timing and purpose, not ours.

When you place your convictions in life on someone else, they may not be ready for what you are sharing. They may never be ready either because what God convicts you of may not even be a journey He wants for them.

I believe our convictions are based on the guidance God gives each individual because He is always preparing us for our journey that lies ahead. It is also my opinion that it is okay to share with others what we believe God has convicted us with, but you can not expect for Him to give your friend or loved one the same conviction as you at the same time.

Lastly, remember to not pass judgement on others if their convictions do not align with yours. If God wants you in the same place at the same time, He will place convictions on the others as well.

Do Not Allow Chaos To Steal Your Week From You

Encouragement Today and Motivation Monday

37F2B09B-D233-43B8-A569-9F20E8BE9FE3Today’s encouragement and motivation was inspired by this quote,

“Your Monday morning thoughts set the tone for your whole week. See yourself getting stronger, and living a fulfilling, happier and healthier life.” Germany Kent

My Friend, open your planner or your calendar and plan your week so you claim the power over it before the chaos of the week claims it for you.

As this week begins, allow yourself the strength to remain calm no matter what the week looks like. Then after you are done planning prevent yourself from looking back at it as well as looking beyond the moment you are in. This will allow you the strength to take control over the day as well as your whole week.

I know for me, I have a tendency to start my Monday out by looking at the entire week and if it is packed before it starts, I begin to feel helpless, hostile, anxious, weak, and often times emotional as a result of everything that needs to be done. I allow the chaos to control me which leaves me feeling weak, vulnerable, and out of control. I do not like this feeling and try to prevent it as much as I can.

For those who know this feeling, also know how debilitating it can be and how disastrous this can be for your overall week. Protect yourself from this and allow yourself the ability to remain in control over your week so you can allow yourself to have an enjoyable and productive week.

Remember, you are stronger than you believe and you will have a good week if you do not allow chaos to run you. Take Control, My Friend! Happy Monday!

Facing Fears Allows You to Conquer Your Strength and Self-Confidence

Encouragement Today and Motivation Monday

My friend, do you struggle with the anxiety of doing things for others, whether they are for the first time or they are something you have done many times?

Do you struggle with the anxiety of never being able to match up to the expectations you feel others have for you?

My friend, today’s inspiration is for you. Check out this quote by Theodore Roosevelt,

“Each time we face our fear, we gain strength, courage, and confidence in the doing.”  Theodore Roosevelt

Do not get lost in the anxiety and fear of trying to live up to other people’s expectations?   Honestly, if you do not match up to them now, you never will. If they expect more of you than what you can give, they are not worth being anxious for.

Release your convictions and emotions to please others and learn that you are enough just the way you are. You can only do what you are mentally and physically capable of doing and nothing more because God made you with only so much of “you” to give away.Do not give away any more than what you have.

Think about this, do you expect from them what you feel they expect from you? Most of the time the answer to this is no. Do not be upset and fearful for not being able to meet the needs they have for you. Relationships are meant to be two-way streets. A healthy one is where you meet in the middle even if this is met with a compromise, but they can not expect any more from you than what they are willing to give back in return.

If they can not like you or love you for who you are, then you need to reconsider the relationship you have. Set your boundaries to prevent them for expecting more than what you can deliver and if this is not good for them, you may need to do more soul-searching than what you were prepared to do.  You may need to consider whether this is a relationship worth having.

My friend, pray over all of this,

  • Pray over your relationship.
  • Pray over your anxiety with this person.
  • Pray over setting healthy boundaries with them.
  • Pray over what is healthy for you.
  • Pray over the communication you need to have with them.
  • Pray over the timing of everything God convicts you with.

When you have prayed over all of this, then have faith and trust God will show you what direction you should takein making this relationship either a healthier one or whether you should be dissolving it.

You have to remember that you are a priority in your own life before you can be a priority in someone else’s.If you are not, you will no longer be able to meet the needs of any one else, no matter if their expectations are healthy or not.

You need to remember you will always be… enough whether you believe this or not. I am here today to remind you that you are.

You are… Enough. You are… Brave. You are… Strong. You are Courageous.

It is important to remember no matter how anxious you may feel, once you conquer the fear over your own circumstances you will be able to stand strong and tall and you will believe in yourself thus allowing your self-confidence to return again.

My friend, there is HOPE for a brighter tomorrow. You can do this! I know you can.
