Sharing Generosity, Gladness, and Gratitude

Christmas Encouragement

December 14

How many times do we only use the word gratitude at Thanksgiving?

Gratitude is a character trait that should be used daily and not just the holiday season.

“Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.” Psalms 136:1 NKJV

When you express a sense of gratitude towards life you will begin to experience a sense of generosity and gladness as well. They all function well together.

Gratitude has a way of changing your heart and opening your eyes to see more positive things in life. Therefore by seeing life more positively, you are able to be happier and generous, whether with your time, resources, or life.

Your challenge today is to give some thought to what you are truly thankful for. Think beyond the material things you have and take for granted, but focus on what God did to meet needs you have struggled for.

Lastly, express a heartfelt gratitude to God for meeting those needs and ask Him how you can be generous with others now and how you can show gladness for all you have been through, during this holiday season.

Feel free to share something you are grateful in the comments block below.
