Let God Provide Peace

Encouragement Tonight

Be Still My Friend, Be Still

As we conclude the night of a long weekend, are you feeling anxious about the week to come?  God reminds us to be calm.  He has everything under control.

‭‭Exodus‬ ‭14:14‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Give all your concerns to God and let Him work out everything that lies ahead.

I know you are saying, “Easy for you to say, you don’t understand what I am going through.”  But what you don’t know is that I do understand. I have been here for a long time.

As I write this post, I find myself feeling like a hypocrite because I struggle with this very thing. I struggle with giving God everything and leaving it in His control.

Here is a challenge for all of us.  Take your biggest concern and pray about it tonight and leave it with God when you go to sleep.  Do not pick it up in the morning.  Let God lead the way for your struggle.

If you feel tempted to pick it back up again, STOP, LOOK UP, and SAY NO! I am not doing this, God you have this concern. I am going to let you work this problem out.  Pray for God to bring you peace and to remove the thought and concern from your mind.

I will promise to do the same thing.

Key factor to remember is this, if you struggle doing this, start with only one problem at a time and focus on God handling that problem so it doesn’t overwhelm you.

I will be posting this on our Facebook page and if you wish to be held to an accountability level, friend the page and leave a comment under this post and we can pray over this together.

Remember in conclusion, be still my friend. Be still and let God have all your concerns.  He is big enough to handle all of it. He promises this in his word.
